On the measurement and interpretation of the fluxes of galactic cosmic-ray nuclei (Phd defense Eduardo Ferronato Bueno, RUG)
On December 6, Eduardo Ferronato Bueno received his doctorate from the University of Groningen for research on cosmic rays and their origin in the universe. Among other things, he used data from AMS-02, a particle detector aboard the International Space Station ISS. Supervisor is Ad van den Berg. Co-supervisors are Manuela Vecchi and Fernando Barão (LIP, Portugal).
Eduardo Ferronato Bueno's PhD research took place at the Department of Astronomy of the Kapteyn Institute with funding through a grant from the RUG. He now works as an analyst at ABN-AMRO.
