On Monday, September 30, Petra Awad will defend her Ph.D. thesis in astronomy at the University of Groningen. The full title of her thesis is: From the large-scale structure to the Milky Way halo - Machine learning techniques for structure detection and analysis. Her supervisors are Reynier Peletier and Kerstin Bunte.
